Steve Jobs speaks

I happened to see the YouTube video of Steve Jobs giving a commencement address at Stanford. It was very moving and inspiring. Here was an incredible visionary trying to inspire young people, trying to get them to set their doubts aside, to jump out of the beaten path, and to move towards their personal dreams.

Funnily enough, I also felt an affinity with Steve as he spoke - because we do exactly the same thing at Proton day in and day out.

You must see the video. You can find it here.

Respected Manas Sir,
It is an amazing video shared by you where Steve Jobs shared three stories in which he share amazing learnings. Sir thanks for sharing this video with us.
I mainly learnt three things,
1. No matter what difficulties come, we should give our level best.
2.
we should live everyday as if today is the last day of our life, which will help give us our best shot.
3. Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die, meaning everybody wants to be a successful person but nobody wants to work hard.
Thanks for sharing such wonderful story by Steve Jobs.

I forwarded the video clip to a scientist I know at MIT who was trying to decide whether to continue with the research group she was working with or to change to a group that was doing more theoretical work in quantum mechanics that she was really interested in. It helped her decide to take the plunge and move to where her real interest lay.
